“ Self-care is not selfish.
You cannot serve from an empty vessel.”

~Eleanor Brown

Massage therapy is not a mere luxury; it is a therapeutic practice deeply rooted in ancient traditions and modern science. At its core lies the art of touch, a potent tool for promoting the removal of metabolic waste.

Beyond its reputation for providing temporary relief from muscle tension and promoting relaxation, massage therapy holds a profound detoxifying power that can invigorate both body and mind. Through the application of targeted pressure, kneading, and stretching, massage therapy helps release muscular tension, allowing accumulated toxins to dissipate. As muscles relax and blood flow improves, oxygen and nutrients are delivered more efficiently to cells while metabolic waste products are flushed away.

This dual action not only promotes physical detoxification but also induces a profound sense of relaxation and emotional release, freeing the body and mind from the burdens of stress, tension, and fatigue, for an overall increased sense of well-being.

Danielle is a phenomenal massage therapist. I first met her when I started taking classes at her yoga studio. I’m sure that her yoga training, the focus on the  connection between mind and body, contributes greatly to her massage skills. As someone who makes a point of getting a massage while on vacation, and a former distance runner who used massage as part of my training and recovery, I have many, many practitioners to compare her to, and I declare without hesitation that Danielle is the best. Her methods are both relaxing and healing. She listens when you describe what ails you and your likes and dislikes. Whether you are looking for a massage so gentle that it puts you to sleep, or one that will find and banish every last muscle knot, Danielle should be your first choice, every time.
